Ingredients

Scale

For the Oreo Balls:

  • 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies (regular or double stuff)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

For the Coating and Decoration:

  • 12 oz white chocolate chips (or candy melts)

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (to help thin out the chocolate for dipping)

  • Mini marshmallows (for the bunny tail)

  • Pink candy melts (or pink food coloring) for the bunny’s paws

  • Black edible gel or small candy pieces (for the eyes and nose)

Instructions

Step 1: Crush the Oreos

  1. Use a food processor to crush the entire package of Oreos (including the filling) until they are finely crushed into crumbs. If you don’t have a food processor, you can place the cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

  2. Transfer the crushed Oreos to a large mixing bowl.

Step 2: Mix with Cream Cheese

  1. Add the softened cream cheese to the crushed Oreos. Mix them together until fully combined. You can use a spoon or your hands to combine them into a dough-like consistency.

  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. You should get around 20-24 balls depending on how large you make them.

Step 3: Freeze the Oreo Balls

  1. Place the Oreo balls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to firm up. This makes them easier to coat with the melted chocolate.

Step 4: Melt the White Chocolate

  1. While the Oreo balls are chilling, melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts. Place them in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and completely melted.

  2. Stir in the vegetable oil to thin the chocolate, making it easier to dip the Oreo balls.

Step 5: Coat the Oreo Balls

  1. Once the Oreo balls are firm, dip each ball into the melted white chocolate, covering it completely. You can use a fork or toothpicks to help dip and lift them out.

  2. Let any excess chocolate drip off before placing the coated Oreo balls back onto the parchment paper.

Step 6: Decorate the Bunny Butts

  1. While the chocolate coating is still soft, place a mini marshmallow onto the bottom of each Oreo ball to create the “bunny tail.”

  2. Use pink candy melts or pink food coloring to create small bunny paws at the base of the Oreo balls. You can use a toothpick to add the pink paws on the white chocolate coating.

  3. Add small black candy pieces or use edible gel to create the eyes and nose of the bunny.

Step 7: Let Them Set

  1. Allow the chocolate to set and harden. You can place the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.

Step 8: Serve & Enjoy

  1. Once the chocolate has set and the decorations are secure, your Bunny Butt Oreo Balls are ready to serve!

  2. Arrange them on a plate or in a festive Easter basket for an extra fun touch.

Notes

Let the Balls Chill – Make sure to freeze the Oreo balls before coating them in chocolate. This prevents the balls from falling apart while dipping.

Be Gentle with Dipping – When dipping the balls, make sure to let any excess chocolate drip off. You don’t want the coating to be too thick.

Customize the Decorations – You can use different colors for the paws, or even add little bows to the bunny tails for extra charm.

Make Them Smaller or Larger – Feel free to adjust the size of the Oreo balls depending on how big you want your bunny butts to be. Just keep in mind that the number of servings will change.
