Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (optional, for tang)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Chicken
- Season the chicken: Pat dry the chicken breasts and season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Rest and slice: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it into thin strips.
Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter
- Cook the garlic butter: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3: Assemble the Wraps
- Warm the tortillas: Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave to make them more pliable.
- Assemble the wraps: Place some sliced chicken in the center of each tortilla. Drizzle with garlic butter and top with both mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
