Ingredients
- Turkey Sausage (8 oz) – Lean and flavorful, a great breakfast protein.
- Eggs (4 large) – Scrambled to fluffy perfection.
- Cheddar Cheese (1 cup, shredded) – Melts beautifully inside the rolls.
- Milk (2 tbsp) – Adds creaminess to the eggs.
- Salt & Pepper (to taste) – Enhances all the flavors.
- Crescent Roll Dough (1 can, 8-count) – The perfect flaky wrapper.
- Butter (1 tbsp, melted) – For brushing on top for a golden finish.
- Optional: Chopped green onions for garnish.
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Sausage
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey sausage and cook until browned, breaking it into small crumbles. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2: Scramble the Eggs
In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour into the skillet and cook over medium-low heat, stirring gently, until just set. Remove from heat.
Step 3: Assemble the Rolls
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Spoon a small amount of scrambled eggs, cooked sausage, and shredded cheese onto the wider end of each triangle. Roll up tightly, tucking in the filling as you go.
Step 4: Bake to Perfection
Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy!
Let the rolls cool slightly, then serve warm. Garnish with green onions if desired.
Notes
- Don’t Overfill: A little filling goes a long way to prevent spills.
- Seal the Edges: Pinch the dough slightly to keep everything inside.
- Reheat Like a Pro: Warm in the oven for a few minutes to keep them crispy.
