Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 beef sausages, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Beef Sausages

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced beef sausages and cook for 5–7 minutes, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Creamy Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring well.
  4. Stir in parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.

Step 4: Combine Everything

  1. Add the cooked fettuccine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  2. Stir in the beef sausages and let everything heat through for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra parmesan.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy

Serve warm with garlic bread or a side salad.

Notes

  • Use Freshly Grated Parmesan – It melts better for a smoother sauce.
  • Don’t Overcook the Pasta – Al dente texture is key.
  • Adjust the Consistency – Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce gets too thick.
