Ingredients
- Eggs (3 large) – The base of the omelette.
- Fresh Spinach (1 cup, chopped) – Adds nutrients and freshness.
- Shredded Cheese (¼ cup, any type) – Cheddar, mozzarella, or feta work great.
- Milk (1 tbsp, optional) – Helps make the eggs extra fluffy.
- Butter or Olive Oil (1 tbsp) – For cooking.
- Salt & Black Pepper (to taste) – Enhances the flavor.
- Garlic Powder (¼ tsp, optional) – Adds a hint of savory depth.
Instructions
1. Whisk the Eggs
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk (if using), salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until fully combined and slightly frothy.
2. Sauté the Spinach
Heat butter or olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped spinach and sauté for 1–2 minutes until wilted. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the Omelette
Reduce heat to low and pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Let it cook undisturbed for 1–2 minutes, until the edges start to set.
4. Add Spinach & Cheese
Sprinkle the sautéed spinach and shredded cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.
5. Fold & Finish Cooking
Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelette in half. Cook for another 1–2 minutes, until the cheese melts and the eggs are fully set.
6. Serve & Enjoy!
Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve warm. Enjoy with toast, avocado, or a side of fresh fruit.
Notes
- Use Low Heat: Prevents overcooking and keeps the eggs tender.
